Uses

This chamber can simulate different environment condition. It's appropriate for testing material performance, such as resist heat, resist dry,resist humidity and resist cold. That can define performance of material.

The chamber contains a refrigeration coil that is controlled at a temperature very close to freezing, 0˚C (32°F). Moisture in the chamber will be attracted to cold surfaces and condense, but not freeze. Accumulated water is drained from the chamber, thereby reducing relative humidity. The refrigerated coil is never below freezing, so there is no chance of frost forming. The best way to understand this is to refer to the diagram below. If you follow the bottom line in the Standard Ranges section of the chart, these temperatures and humidity represent a 7˚C dew point. For example, the lowest achievable humidity level at 20˚C is 43% RH, and the dew point is very close to the lower limit of 7˚C. At 50˚C, the chamber will be capable of 10% RH. The chamber must operate within the limits set by the manufacturer. If a point outside the standard range is attempted, the refrigeration system may be damaged.
